The VokabelBox is an innovative vocabulary trainer designed to facilitate structured and sustainable language acquisition.

The application offers three distinct exercises to enhance vocabulary learning:
<ul>
 <li>Exercise</li>
 <li>Vocabulary test</li>
 <li>Card box</li>
</ul>

Through engaging exercises, users can effectively expand their vocabulary. Options include selecting the correct translation from multiple choices, identifying word pairs, pinpointing initial letters, or rearranging letters to form the correct translation. Progress is visually represented in a comprehensive diagram for easy tracking.

The vocabulary test is structured to adequately prepare users for upcoming exams. Mistakes can be addressed immediately by revisiting incorrect responses or initiating a new test with fresh vocabulary.

The card box feature aids in transferring vocabulary from short-term to long-term memory. Comprising six compartments, learners aim to progress vocabulary into the final compartment. A misstep results in the vocabulary reverting to the first compartment, reflecting a cumulative learning distance that increases with each compartment.

 <li>Box 1: immediately</li>
 <li>Box 2: 4 days</li>
 <li>Box 3: 7 days</li>
 <li>Box 4: 14 days</li>
 <li>Box 5: 60 days</li>
 <li>Box 6: every 180 days</li>
</ul>
(Intervals can be customized based on individual needs.)

The organizational folders allow learners to systematically structure their vocabulary. For instance, users can create a main folder for a specific book, with subfolders for chapters, and individual boxes dedicated to lessons within those chapters. This layered approach enables focused study of single lessons, entire chapters, or complete books.

Hierarchy of organization:

 <li>Book (folder) -> Chapter (folder) -> Lessons (box with vocabulary)</li>
</ul>

Additionally, users can create new vocabulary lists within the app and easily import them from their PC using spreadsheet software. Instructions for this process are available at <a href="http://www.vokabelbox.com/xlsx-import">www.vokabelbox.com/xlsx-import</a>. Notably, the app does not come pre-loaded with any vocabulary.

A backup feature allows users to save all vocabulary along with their learning progress or transfer it seamlessly to another device.
